Day 164
Today we had Yard Sale #2… wasn’t as successful as last time for me, but still not bad. The weather was a little gloomy in the morning. Afterwards I went into the village with a couple of friends and enjoy some artwork on display in the area. One of the artists had the same last name as me (which is rare!), so I bought something from her. lol A friend of mine was getting his bike painted by my artist roommate (woot!) so we walked around to kill some time… visited some kitties in the pet store, where I got a new toy for my cat… and then got some yummy ice cream!!! Good times.

Day 128
Last last night Dan had to evacuate his house. 
There were wildfires that started near Santa Barbara 2 days ago, and the winds caused them to flare up and travel FAST… We stayed in touch via text, so that I could know what was going on. It was very scary, and Dan describes it as worst weekend ever.

Day 086
We went to Moxie’s for a lunch meeting at work, to ‘celebrate’ the end of a long project some of us had been working on. To be honest, I did not personally put a lot of extra time into the project compared with most, other than dealing with the repercussions that stem from changes in software. But everyone did that. I helped them track a before and after progress report though. Anyways… lunch was QUITE yummy actually, and despite the hoochy greeters at the door, I’d definitely be willing to go back.

I went to bed quite late this night apparently… different than my supposed ‘early’ night not long ago. I really need to stop doing that. Then things might be a little more interesting around here if there was some energy to it.

Believe it or not, this was an ‘early’ bed time for me. I usually wake up between 7-7:20am. No… no, I don’t get enough sleep. Why do you ask?

Today a friend and I went to see this movie. It wasn’t as bad as I figured it’d be, as it’s not usually the type of movie I watch.

I was visiting my parents for the weekend, and while there borrowed some CDs from my mom to add some music to the collection for her party.

I don’t recall what led to taking a photo of this globe, but I’m sure it had something to do with saying that on Valentine’s Day Dan and I were really only a few inches apart, rather than thousands of miles. This globe is one that my dad got as a present before I was even born.

Today we went shopping for supplies for my mom’s party. Along the way I scoped out some stuff for future parties that I knew were on their way.

Today I went to my brother’s place to discuss plans for my mom’s birthday party. My nephew was being a goof, as per usual. lol Not sure what’s going on in this pic, but I figured it’s safe enough for the blog since you can’t really see his face anyway. lol

Today I was officially able to use the camera on my new phone. Every good pet owner knows that when a new camera is introduced, one of the first pictures that is taken must be one of your pet. So, in a nice follow up to the previous day’s Kitty-Yarn, I give you Kitty.
